Judging by the few comments I saw in the event thread, several people would like to chat about the events of this weekend and what they did, who they talked to, how much fun they had, etc. Personally, I like reading that stuff because I wasn't able to be there and this allows me to live vicariously through you all.
So this is a thread for y'all to discuss this past weekend. Make it entertaining. I'm really bored.
Kisses!
Erin

On behalf of my fellow Reunion Committee members, thank you for coming. Many of you were very kind to say that it wouldn't have happened without us, but the reality is that it would not have happened if you all didn't make the supreme effort of being there. So thank you.
Where to start? The Friday night kick-off cocktail party was a huge success. Many drinks and stories were shared - a lot of catching up. Sorry I missed McCormick's, but thought it best to reserve the energy for Saturday - plus I was in no shape to drive anywhere, let alone to another bar. To those of you who started (and ended) the weekend with a 4 or 5 AM effort - nice work! Billy D, when you get ungrounded, give a call.
Saturday game was not a dissapointment as our vaunted Scouts improved to 4-0 with a homecoming win over Mundelein. The "tent" was a little, shall we say, little, but it was great to see everyone show up - especially those who couldn't make Friday night.
Saturday night at the Lake Forest Club was better than even we imagined. We had about 20 walk-ups for a grand total of approximately 170 or so attendees. Great work on the slideshow, nametags and "yearbook" poster by Georges Brown. Alison Wright and Chris Tomek, great job on the 80's tunes. To those of you who brought old pictures to share - don't ever do that again! I really don't like being reminded of how much hair I've lost over the last 20 years. Seriously, it was great to see how much we've all changed - or stayed the same in many instances.
And a giant thank you to Kathy Mohr Zerkle for stepping up and hosting what was easily one of the highlights of the weekend - the after hours bonfire. Such a great crowd and so much fun to party with people we haven't seen in so long - let alone the fact that I had probably never partied with a few of them - and in our class, that's pretty rare. I was especially impressed that when I left at 4 it was still going strong. It's going to be a rough week.
Bill Holmes - very nice work.
Hopefully those of you who weren't able to attend will read some of the comments I am sure will be forthcoming and decide to get here for the 25th.
Yes, we decided this weekend was so much fun, there is going to be a 25th. Paul Beaupre will be taking over organizational duties - unless he had too much Bacardi and doesn't remeber volunteering to head up the effort.
And finally, thank you to my fellow committee members: Pam, Tammie, Linda and Mark. You guys made this weekend hum with your tireless efforts. Linda - do you have a new child coming you're going to name Cosmo?
Again, thank you all for making the 20th a success beyond anything we could have even hoped for.
See you all in 5.
P.J.
I second PJ's comments - it was so great catching up with everyone, and getting to know some folks whom I didn't know back in high school.
BIG THANKS to PJ and Pam for organizing from beginning to end the BIG SHOW, to Georges Brown for his amazing work on the banner, wall of "shame - bad hair!", and name tags (thanks to Brice and Becky for those tags as well). Thanks to Alison and Chris for the great music. BIG THANKS to all the classmates who contributed to the raffle with gifts reflecting what they have been up to these past 20 years (Kathy C., Kay B., Alison B. - looking forward to sharing your DVD w/my kids, Alison W. - want to see your next show, Paolo C., Karen S., John W. - want to see your next show, Chris T. - looking forward to sharing your CD w/the hubby, and all the other donors). And finally, thanks to Kathy M/Z for the awesome bonfire party, and for being the ultimate hostess, passing out water at 3am.
Ok, for some gossip (the part I'm sure Erin and others who were not able to attend, are most interested in...) The following is a completely unofficial and informal survey taken at the Saturday night events:
Paul B - best matured, a/k/a, male hottie.
Jan P - female hottie, a/k/a, female most male classmates would leave their wives for...
Bill M - best hug.
Karen C - hottest prego.
John S - most likely to survive the next Y2K (Y3K?) - seriously, 11 years without electricity?
John W/Alison W/ Karen S - coolest jobs. Karen's is literally the "coolest".
Naser S - best arranged marriage.
Jennifer P - funniest hubby. How's his surgery?
****
Undisclosed male classmate has asked for all of your opinions as to who you think are the top 3 hotties (female and male categories - Steve L would love to be included in that list... oops!) Someone is also interested in knowing who you think grew the biggest heads - don't ask me what that means).
****
Personal notes -
Tom S - thanks for the limo
Pam V/J - you looked fabulous (I was not paid to write that comment)
PJ - No, no #4 named Cosmo - my husband is not use to me coming home at 4am
Jeff M - yes, they are real...
Would love to keep in touch, esp. those in the area. If not -
See you all at 25!
Linda
PJ - Yes, I had a couple Bacardi and Diet Cokes, but I distinctly recall Pam approaching me at 11:59 (probably after all other targets had rejected her plea) saying “PJ said you would / should plan the next one. Will it be in 5 or 10 years?” Then she lays hard on the charm until I admittedly cave in a little bit. One of my really smart friends who should remain anonymous (WOLOSON…BRAD WOLOSON) claims that living in proximity to Lake Forest is a requisite for helping pull one of these things together; I should probably follow his lead.
Pam and others -Go ahead and send me all the notes, files, contact information etc...that could be reused for a 25th reunion on LFHS’s homecoming weekend 2012. I will see if I can build on what you have done, pull a “Volpe” or even a “half-Volpe”, and we can all have a lot of fun again. If, by chance, I am living overseas I would probably attend (and there better be a long-distance award) but may have to call Brad and play the proximity card in terms of planning.
A few predictions for 2012:
>Based upon the good time, solid blog exposure of this years reunion, and more advanced notice we will get even more classmates to attend
> Less spouses / guests will attend and subsequently less will get left to fend for themselves with the other guests awaiting their designated driver job
>Even more partiers hang into the early hours barely beating the newspaper to our driveways (AKA pulling the Douglass) as more kids are old enough to baby sit for themselves and less of us have to worry about relieving the neighborhood sitter.
> Steve Wood will be 7 feet tall and still growing & god knows how tall Mike Baas will be
> Andrew Champ will have completed the Kona Ironman (the guy did 3 triathlons in 2 days this summer)
> Mike Ott will get nostalgic and sport the denim Greatful Dead jacket and fifth of Jack our of his trunk that he threatened this year
>Karen Chantler Uihlein will be pregnant with her 8th child - but hangin’ strong until the early AM hours – still looking a lot like Faith Hill
>Pam Volpe Jaleca’s business will have been purchased by Whole Foods as they begin a foodservice line of snacks – Pam buys a nice house on Lake MI where we decide to throw the after-hours party (Kathy Mohr Zerkle’s parents having opted to stay home)
>Gwaltney, misses John II’s induction to the SC Swine Hall of Fame and attends event showing off photos of his adorable kindergarten-age daughter Maggie
> John Woods owns at least 1 or 2 companies
> Jenny Frides has 3-4 Emmys in her office
> Smock had a couple more Lombardi Trophies from his fantasy football league and debates Frides about which awards are more meaningful
> Even more hugs from Tuan
> Beaupre ditches his fancy hairpiece
Any other predictions or observations?
I look forward to seeing some of the photos!
Greetings from Telluride,
It was fantastic to see everyone so happy and successful in their lives. I felt a warm homecoming to LF since, it has been 18 years since my last visit. A heartfelt thanks to Pam & PJ and all their impressive efforts, Kathy Mohr Zerkle for hosting late night bomfires and I am not exactly sure who drove me home from McCormicks on Fri. night.
I returned home to Telluride with a dusting of snow on the peaks and no voice from chatting too much. Personally, I wanted to extend that if anyone is game to ski the steep, beautiful slopes of Telluride, your all welcome. You can simply contact me at: jag@independence.net or visit jagraphix.com. Also, if anyone keeps in touch with Mike H-OTT , you may tell him if he makes it to Telluride, I'll take him up on his offer to run his fingers through my hair.
cheers to all of the class of '87
Jen Gagen
So, I'm not even sure where to begin. However, one can never go wrong by quoting Dirty Dancing: "No one puts Baby in the corner." Oops. No, wrong quote. Actually it was: "I had the time of my life." I'd go on, but not all of the song applies. You get the point. It really, truly, was a fantastic time, and ditto a million times over what P.J. said about it being so great because of everyone there, which carried over the great spirit and camaraderie that we all felt through the blog. A true indication of how much fun people were having was the fact that so many hung around for almost 2 hours after the bar closed, before moving on to Kathy M.Z.'s bonfire and elsewhere. I did however wake up with many regrets of so many people I somehow did not get a chance to even say hello to, let alone have a real conversation with, which is absurd considering I was there for 6 hours. And even a little sad the morning after that it was all behind us, and we have to wait another 5 years for the next one.
I really do need to pile on my great heart felt thanks to Linda, Tammie, Mark for being such great sports in helping pull everything together, and particularly P.J. who came to my rescue the day after I called the school to reluctantly throw my hat into the reunion planning ring (which I now have no regrets about doing). And great thanks to Erin Dailey, Georges Brown, Alison Wright Clark, Chris Tomek, Becky Lee, Brice Shipley and his fabulous wife Noelle for all their help, as well as all the people who contributed all the fantastic raffle prizes. As it turned out, we didn't need any gimmick to help entertain the crowds or pass the time--people were just really happy to be back together and catching up. But I have to say, the ones who won really did rake in the goods.
I have so many phenomenal memories from this weekend, that in no way can I even begin to touch on them all, so I'll stick to the ones that still have me laughing, such as introducing Brett Brinker (my Jr. High and first ever boyfriend) as the "man who could have been my spouse" (at least that's what my Jr. High assignment books all indicated) just in time for his lovely wife to walk up. And what is it about reunions that makes making confessions seem like a good idea? (The alcohol perhaps). I must apologize now to anyone who I made feel uncomfortable by admitting such things as "I joined band in 6th grade because of you" and "I always had a crush on your brother" (which, by the way IS NOT to be repeated to your brother, since my sister is still best friends with him).
And yes, the good news is that Paul Beaupre has graciously "volunteered" to at least "facilitate" the next reunion, which will be the 25th in 2012 and will once again be on Homecoming. Hey, it gave me a slim but legitimate reason to hug Paul not once, but several times, probably a couple times more than was appropriate, but who among you, men and women alike, would pass up the chance to hug Paul given the opportunity and slight reason to do so? Of course saying he looked the same, only less hair didn't come out quite as I'd intended (his hair is SHORTER than his high school picture, which appears to be by choice, not nature).
Some more random thoughts as they pop up:
Bo--thanks for making it! Aren't you glad you did?
Katherine Eiff--still want to hear more about your jewelry company. please send website!
Jenny Gagen--can't wait to check out your line of clothes
Tuan--how lucky are we to know a real rocket scientist and such a great guy to boot? stop writing patents for others and start benefiting from them yourself!
Julia W. M.--great seeing you and a great tribute that at least 5 different people stepped up to offer to help make sure you could make it to the reunion.
Mike, Brice, Becky, Jenny, Jen-- ridiculous it takes a wedding or reunion for us to get together. the insanity must end! but how great that it feels like no time has passed when we do get together.
Linda--I see you plenty. And am officially claiming right of first refusal for godmother status to baby Cosmo.
John Sisson--would love to see your glass blowing products. doesn't seem like it would be bad to mix work life and personal life if you love what you do! send us info if there's somewhere we could see your stuff.
Jen Lawrence and Karen Stokes--I had really wanted to say hi to you both, and am so sorry I didn't get to.
Jill Mallory--thanks for helping at the table! always great to catch up.
Tammie--I forgive you for wearing the same dress as me to whatever event that was in Jr. High. So glad we've cleared that up and can put it behind us now! :)
Jon Woods--What more can I say? And a gorgeous wife to boot? You are the whole package my friend!
Jan Petersen--Hope the hubbie survived the toga party-followed by early morning church event for kids-solo weekend!
Diane Papas--I'm so glad we at least got to catch up on the phone!
Joanna Hoeper--in case you're reading this, many people asked about you and why you weren't there. You were truly missed!
Gail Nielsen--thanks so much for offering to share your kids' food at the game to help try to drive out the hungry/sleepy food demons from my son!
Sean Kennedy--what a sweetheart you were at the bonfire. Have you always been so nice?
Chris Tunney--you may be hearing from us soon! Hopefully you won't get to know my son TOO well if he goes to your school.
Jimmy Swartout--I'm going to do my best NOT to give you any business for many years to come.
Naser--aren't you glad you came too?
Okay, the memories continue to flood in now thanks to still being hung over combined with sleep deprivation. But I've officially rambled on too long and have overstayed my welcome. Is there a space limit on these blog things? I hope others chime in with their favorite memories as well! And for anyone who made it this far: yes, we will be sharing everyone's e-mail address (unless I'm specifically asked not to) and we're figuring out a good way to get everyone's pictures up on a single website for all to view. Keep blogging! It beats working.
Sounds like I missed a fantastic weekend. Thanks PJ and Pam for organzing. I will definitely be there in 5 years. Paul B we may have to fight over the longest distance travelled. I look forward to reading/catching up with everyone.
P.S. - I will bring the wine - I hope you all like italian red.
Ciao, Traci Isyk-Coles
Was there a category for "most hung-over at the reunion party”? I feel like I could have been a strong contender for that award! Friday’s golf and beers, clubhouse and beers, preparty and beers, The Grill on Laurel and beers and then there was that jerk that kept buying me shots at the end of the night…man oh’ man. When I got back to Arizona there was not only one…but two crows on my shoulder (pecking away) until late Monday evening. But seriously…Thank you to everybody who worked so hard to put together that great weekend. I’m looking forward to seeing everybody again in five years and would like to help out in any way that I can with that event. Mucho gusto!
Favorite moment...spending a 1/2 hour with the comedy team of Paul Sunberg and Carl Dahlgren.
M. Blanchard
First off, I would like to apologize to everyone I offended. I imagine the list is long and distinguished. Secondly, Thanks to all for putting this together including Kathy Mohr for hosting the after party. Thanks to Linda for remembering my 3:30 a.m. vodka soaked ramblings in the limo. I tried my best to convince her (and myself for that matter) that I looked as good as Paul Beaupre and his heaving pectoral muscles. She wisely insisted otherwise. Thanks to Swartout for making us drive 30 minutes out of our way to drop him off at his parents house. While we may never be one of the smartest or most successful classes to graduate from LFHS, I have to think that we are one of the funnest and hardest partying.
My top 3 most interesting people at the reunion:
-John "twisted" Sisson
-Naser Shams and his lovely wife
-Alison Wright
Cheers!
Steve Lamm
Santa Monica, CA
It's too bad that such a fun weekend had to go by so quickly! Thanks to my fellow party planners - Linda, Pam, PJ, and Mark - and all others who pitched in, including Georges and Erin, for a wonderful reunion. From the golf at Deerpath to the LF Club, the weekend was full of fantastic events. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to catch up with so many of you, and I was quickly reminded how many great people there are in the Class of '87. Guita and Ridge - it was so much fun hacking up the golf course with you on Friday afternoon. Regardless of how cold we were, at least we had the cute outfits. And it was amazing to see so many of you on Friday evening...yes, I was the chick in the baseball hat (apparently that threw some of you for a loop?). Now you understand that I clearly had hat-head issues from golf.
It was wonderful to see so many of you on Saturday night. To the one person who asked me that evening, (who shall remain nameless)yes, I was aware that my hair has turned "blonder" over the years...it's amazing how that happens. :-)
My only regret is not speaking with everyone I had hoped to...guess I'll have to wait to see some of you again until 2012. My final thought is this...BUNTA, you missed the 10 and the 20, you better not miss the 25! I'll get on a plane to Philly and come get you if I have to.
Many thanks to Kristen Buck for talking me into going to the reunion. Despite my anxiety that I wouldn't know anyone and no one would remember me, I ended up having a great time! It was wonderful catching up with so many of you. I thought everyone looked amazing and as the night progressed, you guys continued to improve! My only disappointment was that I didn't talk to more of you and exchange contact information. I guess I should have gone to the party the night before too because there was just not enough time for in-depth conversations! Mike Ott and Tom Smithburg - you were sweet to boost the faltering ego of this stay-at-home mom! Sadly, my 2 & 6 year old (oh, and husband) made me rethink the after-hours party, but for the 25th I will attempt the all-nighter. Sounds like it was painfully fun! Finally, apparently there are a lot of you living in Libertyville - hope to run into you!
Best regards to all -
Ashley (Borg) Wasser
What a great weekend. Although, I must say it is nice to be home and to be going to bed before 5:00 a.m.! Thank you again to EVERYONE involved in planning all of the festivities; Pam, Tammie, Linda and Mark. It was so fun seeing everyone - although I wish we had more time to catch up. Everything went by so fast and there were so many people to see. I would have liked more time to really talk to people in depth.
Everyone looked fantastic. In fact, everyone looked so good that instead of feeling like we were all getting old, I walked away thinking "were not that old". So, thanks to the class of '87 for looking as good and as young as I feel inside!
To all of the people I missed at the reunion - and there were a lot of you I didn't get to talk to - I hope to catch you at the 25th!
Lastly, the bonfire party can happen with or without my parents home. They actually were disappointed they wouldn't be there to see all of the old familiar faces (yes, I told them about the party). So, it is an official invitation to all for 2012. For those who prefer not to be outside around a smokey bonfire - still come. You can hang inside!
See you in 2012,
Kathy
Curious if anyone got Sam Rosethals web address to review his artwork & creative works?
Jen Gagen
Jenny -
Sam's url is www.samrosenthal.com.
He is immensely talented...if any of you stopped by Pasquesi's over the weekend, you'll notice that the picture of Mr. P on the Web site is the same one hanging in the restaurant.
Enjoy!
P.J.
Kathy M.Z.--in my insanely long blog, I somehow managed to actually send you a hug thanks for the after party, and for your particularly thoughtful gesture of handing out bottled water. Did that happen in high school too? What a beautiful place. And what a hoot it would have been to actually party WITH parents. Next time!
Thanks PJ!
Whoa! I just checked out his work, very impressive. Sam & I ran into each other in Santorini, Greece over 10 years ago. I had been working in Norwagian Nat.'l Park all summer and had saved for a fall trip to Greece. The next thing I know I am hanging out in Thira, and up walks Sam fresh in from running a marathon in Athens with his easel & paints. Talk about the incidence of coincidence!
Jen
Ashley--Great seeing you last weekend!
I don't have your e-mail address! Please send to pam.jelaca@gopicnic.com so I can get you on the list for all future class notices. Thanks!!!
Is there a list of everyone's e-mail addresses somewhere? I mean other than bugging Pam V/J every time I want to get in touch with someone.
Now that I have your e-mail address, I will send it to you!
Study Hall… OK enough already… Yes it was great to see everyone, especially from the ‘hood. Heck seems like one of the hugs was a little longer than it should have been.
Steve VN – yes this blog thing is addictive! If you do see “me” in the hallway when he should be in study hall, you know what to do.
Yes Pam VJ, writing blogs does beat working (g’gler – dictus).Cathartic! Now I get this myspace - facebook thing. Should have gotten out of the lab more. Erin is bored so perhaps we all can try to entertain her some more. I thought maybe some of you might have taken the year book out before or after the event, if you were brave enough to do so… looking at the pictures and reading the signatures (is this what it’s called?) from classmates. Perhaps there might be funny or memorable passages that you could share. Just a thought…
Passalino – Sept 30 is inevitable! Another year but you’ll be just fine – Mrs. Robinson. PJ and I, we’ll toast one to you.
Bonfire? Nobody said bonfire. I heard party. Kathy-I don’t know if I can wait 5 years. Would have been nice to see your mom given the last time I saw her was when she asked about phone calls from the train station.
Karen S. (C) – How nerdy I have become. Dean and I spent time talking about GPS and opportunities to improve it for avalanche rescue. I think he’s got something there. Great guy!
Paul, not enough time for this one. Maybe next one should be a long weekend event if everyone is up for it.
Predictions ?
… “In the Year 2000”… Tuan and Samantha (his Maltese) goes back to Vietnam and rescue as many of Sam’s kindred as possible and drops them off at Kathy’s humane society on the way to the next reunion.
Paul, wanting not to disappoint Linda during the next reunion, has secretly been funding Tuan to invent a drug that would allow him to keep his fancy hairpiece. Knowing that he won’t be able to deliver, before leaving Vietnam, Tuan stops by a Buddhist temple and asks a monk for some ancient Chinese secret potion for his buddy Paul. The monk says, before the inevitable, losing the eyesight and thinning at the top, the only solution that seemed to work was bottled and sold at the boardwalk of Atlantic City. Tuan asks what’s in it and he says he can’t quite pin point it, something quite familiar, especially when he hung out with a certain classmate during high school back in the states. Looking closely at the monk he realizes that it was his classmate, Allen Thompson! “Ah ha!,” Tuan says. “JIM DUGAN!” “I knew it!” Tuan looks at the bottle and low and behold it was labeled “Dapper Dugan” … “Distributed by Quest Products”. Given that this is a prediction it seems logical that Jim, even with all the money made in venture capital, nothing was more precious than the “essence” of Jersey and proceeded to bottle it. BTW, the real reason Jim couldn’t make it to the 20th reunion was because he had tickets to “Jersey Boys.” So "in the Year 2000"…. The class of 1987 decides to re-enact its 1987 Talent Show version of “Grease Lightnin’, starting Jim Dugan as Danny Zuko, thus making certain that Jim will be attending the reunion – no excuses.
Pam - I don't ever remember handing out water in high school. In fact, I can't even remember drinking water in high school ( : It was so fun to have everyone over. Especially such a wide array of people. So you are welcome and thanks to everyone who showed up and made it fun!
Tuan - I am in for the rescue mission in 2012! I will make sure we have plenty of space for all of the dogs you can bring. I got a quick hug from you Friday, got pulled away and never got a chance to talk to you again. So I am definitely in for a longer visit next time around. Would have you shown up at the party if you had known it was a bonfire? You could have even gone home to get Samantha and brought her along. I went 4 days with zero contact with animals - this is not normal for me! I would have welcomed a little dog love. Also the train station calls - vague memories are emerging but I can't remember what that was all about.....
Erin D - if you are reading this I want to thank you too for all of your work on this website! I think we have all enjoyed and are still enjoying it.
Everyone else that pitched in on planning, music etc... A big Thanks to you too!
Kathy- You would have liked Sam. She has lots of love and I can’t walk her enough. She has a friend name Misty. Misty is a Siamese from Lamb’s Farm. Thought she was a he but the vet said that Misty is a mister. Oh well. The name stuck. I did bring Sam to the football game for about ten minutes. We saw the last touch down. Noticed that Officer Hughes is now with security at the school? We can talk about the train station calls in 2012. The bonfire would have required another Starbucks coffee. I’ll be sure not to miss the next one –mission included. Is your organization affiliated with ASCPA, if so perhaps an episode on Animal Planet?
BTW, everyone, H.S. says Hi! from S.C. Said he saw Gwaltney recently.
before i forget... i see that 1900 times people have looked at the map.. so there should be at least triple digit posts by now. common write something...
Jessica O - miss you at Newport Coffee House.
Where is Beth Larson -Too busy with an orchestra?
Pat Gallavan - what are you up to these days?
Bill Schmitz- where are ya?
Traci Isyk-Coles - can you locate Alessandro Dazza (last known location Milano, Italy) for us?
Hi Tuan - I will definitely look up Alessandro Dazza...any known last address? We are about 1 hour outside Milan and I did alot of work in Milan consulting so will use my contacts. Will let you know what I come up with.
P.S. - very cute dog!
PJ, Erin, Mark, Pam -- Great show! You accomplished an amazing hat trick -- high attendance and even higher spirits. Beaupre has his work cut out for him.
Speaking of Paul Beaupre -- thanks for the optomistic forecast. I'm developing an idea for a device that cuts hair and attaches easily to any standard vacuum appliance. Really got a good feeling about this one.
Kathy (Mohr) Zerkle -- I arrived late (10:30) and saw you flying out as I was hanging my wife's coat. Regret not getting a chance to talk and I really regret missing the celebrity bonfire. And you're gorgeous.
I don't drink so if I said something flattering to any of you, I was resorting to honesty.
The rest I'm saying in my new Blog, which will be in a constant state of flux for the next month. I'm going to be adding and subtracting from this thing 'til I've said what I got to say.
Yours,
Jon Woods

Speaking of 1987 - GOOOOD MORNING, VIETNAM….!!
Beautiful day here in LB for all classmates who have ventured out of the area. Leaves are falling.
Bluffers – down town is definitely changing – some new constructions, new restaurant – Holly’s. If you happen to come back, Bluffington’s – great reuben sandwich.
Traci – Thanks for volunteering to find Dazza. How many Dazzas can there be over there?
Soccer fans – next Sunday (9/30) 9:00 AM West Campus, we have at least 4 (class of 85) and 2 (class of 87). Unofficial alumni game. Everyone is welcome. Just show up (80% of success).
So … just happened to catch only one farmers market in LB for the year. Figured I would regret it in the winter if I didn’t. Good that I did. Ran into Spooner. Mentioned about of our reunion. Spooner said class of 67 had one too. Huge turn out. Invited a few teachers.
Hmmm..’67 huh. What were we doing in ‘67? Not a dandy Gamm Chi and no Cuervo Gold or fine Columbian.
Hey where is everyone?
Jon - How did you post your picture? I'd like to do it directly from the computer and not through a URL link from another site. Erin-Help.
Thor-Did you just find out about the reunion after it happened??? I'm so sorry if that's the case! We tried tracking down your e-mail with no luck. Please send to me so I have it for any future class events/info at pam.jelaca@gopicnic.com. Also, if you didn't already see it, be sure to check out the "chat about upcoming festivities" section of the blog site--lots of great updates on folks. Always happy to hear more about what you've been up to as well!
Pam (Volpe)
You can add a photo or an icon through your Blogger account (you can't post without one, so I'm fairly certain y'all have one), but you have to do so via URL. Blogger doesn't let you hard upload images to their servers.
It's easy to get a free Flickr account or similar, though. And then you can upload a photo of yourself to your Blogger profile and it'll show up next to your comments.
Other than that, you're SOL.
